I suppose you could contact Hotpoint and ask them to confirm that your model cooker doesn't have that function. An email from them would be helpful.
Then you can go back to the seller0 -

After cooking in the oven, Mrs O sometimes puts a large bowl of hot water in it and lets it run for an extra 15 minutes which generates loads of steam and a quick wipe cleans it. Could this hydro-whatever be one of those marketing words used to describe normal behaviour?Past caring about first world problems.1

But is "hydrokleen" the same as what the OP describes as "Hydrolytric Diamond clean"?
And the video doesn't make it clear if "hydrokleen" is a specific mode or programme on the cooker, or whether you just pour some water in it and turn it on for a while...0 -
Hoptpoint have form for changing specs on cookers, I bought a hob from Hughes, the spec on hughes site said it had feature X but when installed & used it, it didn't.
Hughes checked with Hotpoint who confirmed spec had changed & hughes offered partial refund which I accepted.
It's upto retailer to have correct details on their site, so push Very for the outcome you want.

It says it has a feature called
The hydrolytric Diamond clean uses steam to make cleaning easier, you can just wipe the dirt away
However I checked other retailers and they say the same thing
But the cooker does not have it as videos show you put water on the bottom and select the mode but the oven does not come with it
How many people will of been missold this
Hotpoint support are clueless to this
What do I do0 -

They've gone to look for the missing letters from their keyboard, i.e. "h","a","v" and "e".
