This is not fulfilled by Amazon purchase. Just Dispatches from Amazon
How come amazon doesn't have to obey UK law?

Whilst the contract may still be governed by English Law enforcing that against an entity in China is very difficult.1 -

Amazon are merely the shipping company here. If the Chinese seller had chosen to post the camera to you instead, then you couldn't claim against the Royal Mail.
If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -

Also Consumer Rights and guarantees are two very different things.

Seems to be a thing lately with Chinese sellers asking for video evidence. Had it recently where I sent pictures of an item they sent
rather than my much bigger more costly item.
A few said it was a common scam but the item they sent was linked and not exactly cheap so 99% a mistake and not a scam eventually I
got my item and they didn't arrange uplift of the other item but I have put it safe just in case.
I sent a video of an empty box and printed some large question marks and a sad teddy bear and placed them in the box.
Message: This is the best video I can make because I cannot video something you have not sent me.
When it's related to a chinese seller you need to budget in the fact you may need to throw it away rather claim claim
on any warranty. Sometimes it will grind you down so much trying to explain what the problem is the warranty
will have expired anyway.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...1 -
I think the whole idea is to grind you down with endless, stupid questions. They told me a replacement may be an option for them but was out of stock with the seller (eg amazon). When I looked, the same model was on sale.0
