Options
Does anybody know, how add personal ringtones with sonoma into iphones? If important, my Iphone has 17.1 on it. Thanks ;-)

I have never paid for ringtones even back in the day where they were midi files.

As long as you’ve got a m4a file that’s less than 30seconds and you rename it m4r then you can just copy it across.

You e always been able to use your own ringtones either by using iTunes/Finder or saving using Gatageband on the phone itself.

Absolutely, here's a more concise version for you:

Save your custom ringtone as an .m4r file.
Connect your iPhone to your computer.
Drag the .m4r file to your iPhone in iTunes (for older macOS) or Finder (for macOS Catalina or later).
Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Ringtone on your iPhone to set your new ringtone. Remember, it should be 30 seconds or less!
