New Mobile Contract - Best Deal?

Hi guys,
I have just started a new mobile contract, well, not quite yet as the phone hasn't been dispatched (which is how they judge when the billing starts!). Am I on a good deal? I'm a fairly light contract user - 200mins + 400 texts is basically what I use and is what tariff I am on - O2 Online 25 Texter (18 months). That's £25 a month for 18 months. I picked up a Sony ericsson k810i for free on this tarriff.
Should I have gone the cashback route? It would mean my entire contract could come to around £360 after 18 months (after claimed cashback) even with a £30/35 a month tarriff if some of the e2save offers and dialaphone offers I have seen are to go by? My O2 Online contract would come to £450 after the 18months is up. Is the cashback route worth it - how many regular forum users here use cashback, or do most go to the network direct?
My O2 Online tarriff is far better than the ones available in O2 shops - it has double the texts (400 instead of 200) and it has unlimited calls to other O2 mobiles (you only get this on over £30 tarriffs on 18month contracts instore). I wouldn't get unlimited O2 calls with an independent cashback retailer.
Any help much appreciated
