That's good to know. I think I'll just fund it with less cash now and leave it be.refluxer said:
I have a number of fixed rate accounts with Hodge and online BACs payments into all of them from my current account, which were either instant or took 1 minute at the most. The payments weren't made at the weekends, but many were made during the late evenings.[Deleted User] said:This money will come from HSBC to Hodge Bank.
I wouldn't leave it until the last minute, though. You should get a confirmation email fairly quickly, although on one occasion, this did take a while to arrive.

What money can you not transfer to Hodge bank before the bank holiday weekend? How much would you make in the unlikely event that Hodge Bank would credit deposits on a bank holiday?

Why do you want to fund it with less cash ? As Hodge aren't a 'next working day'-type of bank in my experience, you've still got until your 14 days are up to pay into it.[Deleted User] said:

When did you want to make the payment ? If you wanted to do it now, it'll be credited within a few minutes based on my experience.[Deleted User] said:It will only be £1k less than l was going to fund the account. I'll put it in another account now.1 -
