Cheapest sim only - only want phone for podcasts

Hi, trying to stop using phone in bed, so have decided to use a phone for downloading and listening to podcasts only.  

Consequently, looking to find the cheapest sim only deal which will allow me to do this, currently with O2.

It's not really clear what your requirement is? Are you simply looking for the cheapest data-only SIM deal (no calls/texts)? 

Any SIM deal is also dependent on which networks get a useable signal where you want to use it.

Why do you need a sim at all.

Can't you just connect to wifi and download them as they are released for later listening?
