Cancell my 3 contract?

Options
Hiya,

first post but been looking at this site for a while.

Ive just renewed my 3 contract (19th december) got a new phone but havant opened it (still useing my old phone)

just received my first bill. charged me for handset upgrade (wasnt told this) and gave me 25 minutes less then what i was offered.

rang them up today, was transefered to another guy, told me they couldnt do anything and that they would get the guy who sold me the contract to ring me in an hour.

1 hour later nothing.

im wondering if i can cancell my contract?

3 terms state that existing customers do not get 14 day cooling off period!

but as im not getting what i paid for do i have a leg to stand on?

any help would be great. (oh my contract is £15 a month) 600 texts and 75 mins (promised 100 minutes)

any help would be great. cheers.

  • phoned them up, they sent out my phone on the 13 meaning im past the 14 days. although my contract did not start untill the 15.

they refused to give me the 25 minutes that i was promised. refused to refund the phone charge (gave me £10 back of £20 as a good will gesture) and refused to cancell account.

Wont be useing 3 again me thinks.

escilate a complaint to manager ( take full name & ask them to make full notes on your account ) to pull call recording of offer ( all calls are recorded ) for investigation - if he refuses to pull it/sort it issue, tell him you want complaint/issue escilated to exec office & the exec office told you thats procedure - they (exec) will only handle your complaint/issue via the Contact Centre ( India to us mere mortals ) refferal to them if & ONLY if CC cant resolve it 1st at ( india ) contact centre

you have the right to escilate to the exec if contact centre dont sort to your satisfaction - no if no buts thats 3's procedure/protocol & tell the manager you know that from exec office direct as they could only give general advice as you did not follow complaint protocol via CC to thier level and thats what your now trying to do ( if CC fail to sort issue out )
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)
