    Both those letters have your full name and address and vehicle registration numbers clearly visible.

    Do you have no privacy concerns?

    Anyway no need to show us DCB Ltd £170 threatograms.  We try to avoid wasting time talking about those.

    See the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread.

    Afternoon all,

    As expected, the attached Letter Of Claim form has been received. I’m ready to go with the sending of the email as stated in the Newbies thread, just a couple of questions before I do;

    1 - Is it worth asking them to combine both PCN’s at this point? This letter of claim is only for the one PCN (the one issued first) but as established in my original post, there is another one in the pipeline.

    2 - The reason stated on the reverse of the LOC states “unauthorised vehicle”. The vehicle was parked in location 1 as can be seen in my post from 3rd May. Although this is not the gym car park, it is in the same location as the gym and the address location on the LOC lists the same street. Would this be an opportunity to state I was a member of the gym and was using the gym at the time as they have been so vague with the location? Or would it be disputed/evidenced as such that it is not the gym car park? My gut feeling is not to say anything further but just thought I would ask the question here first.

    Thanks as always for your time and advice.

    Don't respond with any detail that suggests knowledge of the PCN.

    Better that they file a claim in the Autumn where you can say within your defence that the POC are inadequate (see Template Defence).

    For that reason be vague; just use the template LBC response in the NEWBIES thread.  Up to you whether you want them to consolidate both PCNs.  If yes, search the forum for:

    Dear Sirs Henderson estoppel cease desist

    Thanks, I’ll be sure to keep it vague as suggested.

    I’ve tried searching the forum for the terms suggested but the only search results I get are comments from yourself asking people to search the forum for those terms 😅 Are you able to link me directly to the post with the example email please as I would like them to combine both PCN’s as the defence for both will be the same and it will save me repeating the process in what will most likely be 12 months time…
  • UPDATE

    I’ve researched the Henderson v Henderson case and understand the theory. I want to ask them to be combined but without suggesting knowledge of the PCN. Could I just reference the letters received for the different vehicles?

    Yes.

    If you look at older results you WILL find an already written email to DCB Legal you can copy from. Put them in order 'NEWEST' then obviously go and read the oldest search result listed.  The one that started it.

  • FYI the redaction has not fully obscured your details.  Name, address, ref and VRM all still visible.
