Secure Parking Solutions / DCB Legal Claim x 2

My prediction:
Claim nearly £400. Two PCNs + add ons.
DCB Legal will discontinue this time next year after dragging you through the court claim and defence stage and before the hearing they'll drop out.
Scam over.

Horrible game, with your credit rating at stake if you make a misstep, but always winnable. With us, you will see this off.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Are you able to offer a template for the DPO email? I’ve looked but can’t seem
to find one. Probably searching the incorrect keywords…0 -

Fired an email off to each. Got an automatic reply from DCB Ltd acknowledging receipt, but got a bounce back email saying the address doesn’t exist for the parking firm, although it is listed in their Privacy Policy 🙄 So sent it to their general enquiry email too.1

Did you use the word, erase, in your rectification notice? If not, you need to resend them instructing the PPC to erase your old data and replace it with your new address for service.
Plan A is still a complaint to the landowner and your MP, without naming the driver, and it is never too late to do so.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks4 -

Following the emails sent last night I've received a response from DCB Ltd;
"2nd May 2024
Dear Mr XXXX XXXXXXX,
Please accept this email as confirmation that the only address held on file is as follows;
XXXXXXX
XXXXXXX
XXXXXXX
XXXXXXX"
The address they have listed is my current and correct address so I'm pleased this has been dealt with appropriately.
Couple of questions please guys if you can advise;
- Does it matter they have put the incorrect date on the letter? It is dated tomorrow. Should I reply and ask for a correction?
- Email to MP and landowner. Any suggestions on content to include in email or any specific points to raise?
- Is it worth submitting a SAR to Secure Parking Solutions?0 -
Just an observation, but even if parked in an unclear 'unauthorised' space (not that you can tell from the pics), but surely the parking attendant needs to observed for the minimum of 5 minutes as mandated in the BPAs COP allowing for consideration time - this is a minimum regardless of size of the CP I thought? I think 3m and few seconds isn't long enough to determine a PCN?1

- Is it worth submitting a SAR to Secure Parking Solutions?2. There's a 'Complaints' thread (linked in the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement) which will give you some pointers.3. No, don't send a SAR. DCB Legal court claim particulars are woefully inadequate on details of the parking event(s), so you don't want the details given to you now. SEe what they put in any claim they issue.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
