In that case I'd be generous and give them 14 days from the date of the email above where they have acknowledged the right to reject.
If they don't reply by then you can send the letter before action which might spur them on or simply send a message asking for an update.
Hopefully they've realised you aren't going to be fobbed off and are aware of your rights so will get this sorted out now.

Latest response from dfs. V12 have accepted but these are still refusing 🙄

If the feet "can be easily replaced", why have they been unable to do so after several months?
I've been critical of your continual changes of reasons for wanting to reject the sofa. If I recall correctly it started off being the feet, then at various points it's been the wrong height, the wrong type and too hard, or things like that. However, given DFS's continued incompetence over the feet, I think you've got grounds to reject the sofa, but as has been said before, it's seemingly almost impossible to enforce it. I think you're going to have to go the court route and hope the small claims court sides with you. Send them a LBA and see if it stirs some action.2 -

I would just ignore DFS for the moment, give V12 until the 25th of this month for a reply and then send a letter before action in the post, let us know if no reply by the 25th and I'll post a draft of the LBAIn the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces1 -
@Lipgloss24, just to keep me up-to-date can you confirm whether DFS have at long last supplied you with the right coloured feet and if so, have they fitted them for you or are they still in a plastic bag?0

To confirm, are you still using the sofa?If you’re rejecting the sofa, you shouldn’t be using it, but keeping it in a condition that allows for collection. You effectively become an involuntary bailee at the point of rejection.1

Past threads have suggested if the refund comes from the finance company they may not want the goods so it's difficult to say what should be done at this point.
One of the emails to V12 did ask where the sofa should be returned to but I'm not sure if OP got an answer on that specific point.
It appears V12 are looking to get DFS to refund, so that DFS take the hit instead of V12, if that happens then it would be return as normal to DFS.
It's interesting as it's clearly cheaper for DFS to collect rejected sofas rather than cover the costs of the customer returning themselves as they have the existing logistics to carry it out at an efficient cost, the choice to impose the duty of return would appear to be a barrier to deter the customer from rejecting, but alas that is their entitlement.RefluentBeans said:You effectively become an involuntary bailee at the point of rejection. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -
The v12 response . I have never reported a chip to one of the legs . There has never been a chip to one of the legs this is the first I’ve heard of this . Seems like they are making it up to get out of it
