1p Mobile

My husband died and has £14.40 credit on his 1p mobile account. They are refusing to refund it. I know it's not a lot of money but why should they keep it.

No refund of credit is a pretty standard term for PAYG.

Find a Text to Donate service and donate it that way using the credit.

You could donate from the balance to a charity by SMS, assuming you still have a working SIM.
Do 1pmobile support that? I didn't think they did.
Alternatively is there a family member who could port their payg number to your husband's sim and use up the balance then port it away again?

I understand your point but it's either £10 for 3 months or £30 a year less than a pound a week £1 so any surplus is going to be small.
For this reason there is no refund. But it isn't removed.
Prevent an auto top up and use the surplus yourself?
