Your score is immaterial, no-one sees it apart from you.

Long-running credit accounts reflect favourably on your credit history (e.g. a credit card that has been well-managed and that you've held for a long time).

A current account - especially one with no overdraft facility - will have close to zero impact on your credit history.

The chances are as mentioned - when the account was opened there was no term that allowed them to share the data. So it's not them choosing not to share - it's likely because you didn't agree to them sharing as it wasn't something they did at the time anyway. They wouldn't have had a term 'We can share your data' if  they didn't share anyone's data with anyone. But that's a moot point as it's too old to retrospectively recorded on your CRA history. It's not something to worry about, and its impact on not being there is negligible at best assuming all your other recorded credit history is well managed. If you need a current account that shows on your CRA's (I can't think why you'd NEED one) - you can open a new one fairly easily.
