I bought a pack of Heinz beans last week
4 pack or 6 pack, unit price said 6 pack was cheaper which you would expect but it didn't look right to me so I did the calculations on my phone
4 pack was cheapest
Thought you were going to give us the price per baked bean there...!

I do remember 4 were £2.? and 6 £5.?
that's why it didn't look right0 -
We have seen the same with dog food, cheaper per gram to buy two smaller packs than 1 large pack.0

It happens with other products.
When queried we were told it was because one was old order not yet sold out , and the other was a new offer that had started.0 -
I wish I had the time to report all of the errors I have seen (in both Tesco and Morrisons). It's disgusting. No-one seems to care at all. If it was a single market trader then they'd probably have their trading license taken away. I now try to shop at Lidl because at the very least the products are often cheaper, and you know what's going on with the pricing. I know they have a Lidl plus card, but the full price is displayed clearly so you know what you are paying for even if you haven't activated the discount on the App (which also annoys me - why make customers activate the offer on the App? If they already have the App then why not just discount the item when the Pluscard is scanned??)

Gingercat18 said:The bulk of our supermarket shopping is done online by a weekly Tesco delivery. I believe it was back in February that Tesco said they were going to show unit pricing for Clubcard Offers and for a while this was happening. However for the past couple of weeks they have reverted to NOT showing the unit pricing for offers - and I`ve had to resort to my calculator again.
I have tried to complain to Tesco about his online but it seems to be impossible to do so
Has done for ages.
Is your app up to date?0 -
Well, I am not sure whether this is a unit pricing gripe, but certainly concerns me from a healthy eating perspective.
For quite some time now, the Krispy Kreme doughnut display at the store entrance has been changed out to "low calorie" doughnuts - still 200-odd calories per treat and still not healthy.
For the last few weeks, the central aisle at the main entry point to the store has been stacked high with giant boxes of chocolates (Hero's, Rose's, Quality Street etc) and massive signs "MAXIMUM 25 PER CUSTOMER".
Then I noticed in the fruit and veg aisle, under a sign "healthy snacking" there are loads of toffee apples and such like.
How are parents - or anyone - meant to focus on healthy food options in the face of that?2 -

To stop being on promo ends/multibuy promoted etc.
But as you say you can then put boxes of chocolates by the front door, the cardboard display units, have the big pick N mix unit etc.
