I am concerned about my credit score being affected and the prospect of bullies arriving on my doorstep to charge me even more that the current charge to settle payment. I don’t understand my rights regarding this, and not all the replies agree with the advice to ignore and not pay.None of that will happen.
A private parking charge is an unsolicited invoice. It isn't a fine.
You will understand by reading the resources pinned at the top of the forum. The info is there to help new posters because we can't do this piecemeal on up to a hundred new threads / posts added here daily. Many replies have directed me to a newbie thread but I can’t seem to locate it.But under every post I make, it tells everyone exactly where to click because we know people might not understand how forums work:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just to say thanks to all who responded for your help.
it’s been a long process but after numerous bullying emails from CP Plus threatening debt collectors, and after making a complaint (thanks for the heads up about locating the contact for that) I was finally supplied with a verification code so was able to submit an appeal to POPLA (never heard of POPLA before so thanks for the heads up about that) and I’ve recently heard from POPLA that CP Plus have withdrawn my appeal which POPLA said means the PCN has been cancelled,Thanks all, it saved me been extorted out of £50 for going to work! 🙌3 -
