What would be our best option now do you think, she was on the carpark for 10mins , failed to pay for a ticket and have ignored the escalated demands, any idea of the worse case scenario if it goes to court.0
-
Until you start answering the questions and more importantly posting redacted pictures of both sides of the PCN, a picture of the signs on that site, and especially a redacted picture of the latest letter with the name of Gladstone on it. ( Plus a redacted picture of the claim form if one arrived ) Answering your questions and any further advice cannot be assisted
But a typical loss in court is between £200 and £250
Please start posting pictures, then proper advice can be given1 -
But the worst case scenario is already stated in the second post of the NEWBIES thread.Mike7911 said:What would be our best option now do you think, she was on the carpark for 10mins , failed to pay for a ticket and have ignored the escalated demands, any idea of the worse case scenario if it goes to court.PRIVATE 'PCN'? How do I find a related "newbies" thread that I am being directed to and how to upload pictures0
-
Its the 6th thread down from the top of this forum, in announcements, written by coupon mad, so its above your thread
Use the attachment option to upload pictures, or add links to hosting sites like postimg or possibly imgbb, if you are able to post links. ( Newbies are restricted in what they can do. )1 -
You posted that question right underneath my signature.Mike7911 said:How do I find a related "newbies" thread that I am being directed to

My granddaughters PCN is in the hands of Gladstones Solicitors and is asking for £160 or will progress to court does anyone know the best way to either contacting District Enforcement Ltd to try and compromise she parked for 10mins some seconds in January and has foolishly ignored the previous notices, She had parked on the Garrick Car Park , Southport instead of the adjacent Travel Lodge until she moved it.0

Contacting District Enforcement is not going to resolve the matter, so not recommended, they will stonewall and reply with contact the debt collectors. ( Or the solicitors. )
We have no proof that the latest letter actually came from Gladstone's , because you still haven't shown us a redacted picture of it
The letterhead may say Gladstone's, but that doesn't mean that they sent it, more likely that it came from the debt collectors, UNLESS its headed Letter of Claim, and came with financial forms and a 30 day deadline. ?
If it's a 7 or 14 days deadline, its from the debt collectors, probably from DRP
I'd you followed our previous advice and posted some pictures, we can tell you the score0 -
Hi Gr1pr, thankyou , not sure how to upload edited version to show you, it is headed letter before Claim form and gives 30 days deadline, I know she should have actioned sooner,0

In that case it sounds like an LBC from Gladstone's, so is dealt with by following the advice for an LBC in the Newbies sticky thread in announcements, the thread by coupon mad, do not try to wing it and do not contact District Enforcement UNLESS there is a valid reason to do so, the solicitors are the ones dealing with it on behalf of their client0
