Hi All,
I opted for a Lebara SIM only deal - £7.90 pcm, with 1st 6-months @ £1.00. I purchased via the MSE site, that fwds you onto the Lebara site.
I was charged £7.90 for month 1, when I expected to be charged the MSE blagged rate of £1 in month 1. I didnt give it too much thought, thinking lets see what the auto renew is for month 2 - it too is £7.90.
When I go to my lebara account it shows that it is the MSE blagged deal for that SIM, where I should be paying £1 for the first 6-months, or perhaps £1.49 now after the April Lebara annual price hike?, yet I am being charged full price.
Has anyone else had a similar issue and how did you get it resolved? The Lebara site is pretty sparse of information.
It is disappointing to go for a MSE blagged deal, that isn't honoured.
Best regards,
S.

Yes I had the same happen to me as well, I contacted Lebara and they refunded me the extra money charged and said they would sort it out.
It did happen again the next month though so I had to contact them again for a refund. My offer was only for 3 months so I cancelled the sim then.
I have had quite a few of these offers and this is the only time that I have been incorrectly charged so don't let it put you off.0 -
Same thing just happened to me. Should be £1.25 for the first 6 months but was charged £7.90. When i contacted Lebara they said it was because i had changed payment method from debit card to paypal so the promotion price was not applied. They have refunded me £6.65 and said they will apply the promotion again for the following 5 months. Out of interest did you change the payment method? if so that is most likely the reason you did not get the promotion price.0
