You're right, if I can avoid court then that makes sense. Just not sure if sending my employment contract is a good idea. Wondering if there's any other ways I can prove my employment there.Gr1pr said:I dont see a problem with you providing that evidence now instead of a few weeks before the hearing date, with your witness statement bundle
As you are conducting your own case, you will have to deal with their solicitors and its ALWAYS a good idea to avoid court, they are going to get it at some point, but they may cancel once you send it, they do have a record of discontinuing cases, as seen in the thread by Umkomaas0 -
I wouldn't be happy sending my contract of employment to them. Send copy of your confirmation email that your vehicle was on the vehicle exemption/White list or ask employer for letter verifying your employment.

Thanks, I'll do that.Nellymoser said:I wouldn't be happy sending my contract of employment to them. Send copy of your confirmation email that your vehicle was on the vehicle exemption/White list or ask employer for letter verifying your employment.2 -
Hi all, I've recieved the directions questionnaire and have been scrolling the forum and newbie section on how to complete it. However, I can't find a guide on how to complete the 'newer' version of the questionnaire where you can't say no to mediation etc.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

I thought that it was all the same, apart from that bit. ?
In which case you carry on with the rest of it as explained in the newbies sticky thread in announcements, plus study the 12 steps in the defence template thread too2 -
The thing is, on the newbies sticky thread it states to send the completed questionnaire form to DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk, however, on some other threads, it says the correct email address is ccbcaq@justice.gov.uk.Gr1pr said:I thought that it was all the same, apart from that bit. ?

I just thought there may be an updated guide as the one on the newbie section seems outdated from 2016. I've spent an hour trying to find more recent comments.0 -
Those are old threads, the CNBC published the new email address ones in early March, so nearly 5 months ago, they retired the ccbcaq one at the same time
I believe that members like Grizebeck and coupon mad have mentioned the new changes whereby compulsory mediation arrived 2 months ago2 -
Ok gotcha, so DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk is the main email address now to send to, along with DCB legals email address.Gr1pr said:Those are old threads, the CNBC published the new email address ones in early March, so nearly 5 months ago, they retired the ccbcaq one at the same time

Just one more question, DCB Legal sent me a copy of the old N180 form, not the new one. Can I not just send an old copy back too to the courts?0 -
What DCB Legal do is up to them.kop87 said:Just one more question, DCB Legal sent me a copy of the old N180 form, not the new one. Can I not just send an old copy back too to the courts?
As the CNBC have sent you the newer version, then you should complete and return the newer version - remembering to send a completed copy to the Claimant.3 -
Morning all, I have the mediation telephone call tomorrow morning regarding this case and just wanted some advice on how I deal with it. From what I understand, we didn't have to attend before but now it is mandatory, is that correct? I'm not sure if I'm meant to discuss the case here with whoever calls me or if I play a hard line approach.
Can someone please advise?0
