Hi,
Hopefully someone can help advise me. I am currently seeking legal advice however...
Countybroadband have installed wires on a utility pole on my property. They have given a million and one excuses why they feel they can but essentially they trespassed on my property installed their infrastructure and are now refusing to take it down despite it causing damage to my property.
I have tried being nice and they said they installed it on public land to which i proved they didn't. They said they installed it on an open reach pole which they have a contract with to share poles. I proved the pole was an electric pole to which they did not have the right to attach. They promised me faithfully they would remove the wires but have hit a bump and are now refusing to do so and say i have to take them to court.
I am seeking legal advice but does anyone have any experience in this?

You could try contacting the DNO and tell them that someone has made an illegal attachment to one of their poles , that may get the DNO investigating0

I work for the DNO so am a bit more clued up than the average joe. Which is how i knew it was a DNO pole and the wayleaves existed for them not open reach and certainly not this new provider. The DNO has since terminated the wayleaves so there isn't one on the pole at all now.0
