If you are jetwashing your patio then you will have a socket nearby therefore mains powered for patio and battery powered for portability for washing the car
Not without the addition of an extension lead - which worries me (electricity and water do not safely mix)
Jet washers have waterproof electrical connections on them so it's only where the plug on the other end of the lead goes that you need to be concerned about. With a little care, that is kept well away from the water spray!
    That's what I meant
With a max 5m lead I don't see how you can avoid getting the join wet
I manage to jetwash my back garden every year without getting the extension wet , if thatis a concern to you use a waterproof extension lead

Water and electricity can and do mix safely together , electric showers, jetwashers, water pumps , fish tank heaters , boilers all use water and electricity combined and are quite safe to use

Our nearest useable power socket is in the conservatory with around 25 metres from the car - so an extension lead is necessary as it is for the patio - but I am concerned about the extension lead socket getting wet !!

If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

Then don't squirt water on it!  ;)
You could put it inside a plastic bag if you're that concerned. I just leave mine upside down, but never direct the water in its direction anyway.

If you take sensible precautions not to jet wash the extension lead connectors and the lead is plugged in to an RCD connected socket you should be ok surely?

Use one of these (or something similar) at your extension lead connection point with the pressure washer if it's a big worry:
