Battery Powered pressure washers
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

Yes, use a mains one. A battery one would never copeMouldyOldDough said:Looking for a decent pressure - battery powered pressure washerThat can cope with car cleaning and patio cleaningAny advice ?3 -

I have both mains (Nilfisk) and battery (Worx). The battery one is fine for a quick wash of the car, but no use on the patio.1

As already said, the battery ones are OK for blasting bird excrement from the car but no good for patios - you need a mains one for that1

A petrol one is another option0

If you are jetwashing your patio then you will have a socket nearby therefore mains powered for patio and battery powered for portability for washing the car1

Not without the addition of an extension lead - which worries me (electricity and water do not safely mix)cerebus said:If you are jetwashing your patio then you will have a socket nearby therefore mains powered for patio and battery powered for portability for washing the car

Jet washers have waterproof electrical connections on them so it's only where the plug on the other end of the lead goes that you need to be concerned about. With a little care, that is kept well away from the water spray!MouldyOldDough said:

With a max 5m lead I don't see how you can avoid getting the join wet

Every year I jetwash a drive with room for 3 cars. Never had a problem with the mains power. Unlike the electric hedge trimmer, which the OH managed to slice through its own power lead with! The RCD shut the power off before any lasting harm was done though...MouldyOldDough said:
