Do I disconnect the USB from the modem and desktop(tower thingy) and then reconnect the desktop(tower thingy) to the router using an ethernet cableHe who smiles rather than rages is always

Removed the USB and used Ethernet cable from desktop to Router...it worked..thanks so much for that.
Now I just need to sort out the security on my laptop.
