I’m a Sky VIP Diamond customer and been with them for 18 years.

Today I tried to haggle with them and ended up getting Sky Cinema and Netflix removed which resulted in a £5 per month saving!

Not such a good deal I think. Would it be worth contacting them in a few days to renegotiate?

If you read the Sky forums there are very few deals available for existing customers these days.

Even if you give notice, unlike the old days, any offer from retentions is not likely to result in great savings.

I have had a similar outcome - and even now they've charged me more than they said.

Two different 'advisers' have stated I am correct but now the third says they have given me the wrong info.

Just sent a complaint in so I'll wait a few days then ask for advice on here.

Sky VIP means nothing from what I can see.
