ParkingEye - Hotel Indigo Newcastle stay, CNBC claim, but did nothing wrong

Might be me just being pedantic. But my understanding is that an invoice is when someone is requesting money from someone else, so it could be misconstrued that it is not proof of payment, just that the hotel issued a document stating you owe them £14 for parking. So might want change the word parking invoice to parking receipt on the defense and refer to it as a receipt (of payment) going forward.1

I meant by phoning the CNBC and checking over the phone
Plus maybe an email to the email address at the bottom of the email list, applications, queries etc3 -
I phoned CNBC and their backlog is currently around 5 to 6 weeks. They confirmed that as long as I received an auto response (which I did) then I should consider the filing as accepted unless informed otherwise.
I'll keep checking and probably give them a call if in two weeks if it's still not on the system.1 -
Good news! It took a long time for things to move along, but not long after getting the case moved to my local court and having one phone call with them where they "offered" a lower settlement figure (which I declined and told them I was looking forward to my day in court) DCBL have notified me that they have been instructed to discontinue legal proceedings. They included a copy of the N279, but naturally I'll believe it when the court confirms this.
All thanks to the excellent help and guidance in this forum. Thank you!3 -

Calling @UmkomaasPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

So, no update on MCOL or letter through from CCBC to confirm receipt of the N279. The hearing was scheduled for 12th Feb, and I did not file a witness statement once I received the N279 from DCBL. Should I try to file a witness statement now and attend court if it gets to the 12th?0

Good to hear DCB Legal discontinued.
Make sure your MP is aware of the private parking problem and motorists need Govt protection from their greedy nasty practices. Please:• email your MP, easy with Smoof's template letter (change to suit)
• sign/share petition demanding re-launch of Govt-backed Parking Code1 -

Ring the local hearing court or email the NoD to them and ask them to confirm that the hearing is vacated.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
