It kinda annoys me that big companies like these make it so awkward to take up minor issues that people don't...because there are 50 thousand other things to do aren't there ....I didn't, because I forgot about it....but now read this in logging back in so think I will follow Cymruchris's suggestion and just write to them.
They didn't commit a cardinal sin, but they annoyed me - home delivery shopping as I live in a rural area (and have a staff pup)....bottle of vodka for my son and laws birthday next day...came with the security tag on (those big ones), so basically had to get in the car and go to town and buy another, which defeated the object....contacted them on their app straightaway, and took photos of it and the bar code so they knew I hadn't nicked it - no refund and no way of appealing it. Asda is a good hours drive from me, in a city I rarely visit...as I say, a peeve...
Is that not the normao procedure when you are not satisfied with an item?2 -

That's happened to us with a Sainsbury's delivery. In our case, it was a bottle of whisky, which came boxed (so we didn't notice until we opened the box a few days later). May well be similar with the vodka- they sometimes come cased especially the more up market brands. In our case, it wasn't a gift so Mr S just went at the security tag with a pair of plyers until he losened it sufficiently for us to get at the whisky (made us feel very chavvy!)

For maximum respect Mr S should use a sword:

Try customer.support@help.asda.com
I called customer service this afternoon and asked for an email address and this is what they gave me.
No idea if it's going to get me anywhere, but it's worth a go!
Good luck.
