Ryanair gift voucher issues

I received a ryanair gift voucher worth £70 from my sister in December 2023. Around that time a few different people sent my mum gift vouchers for ryanair and they all separately had issues with the voucher being sent to the recipient so I am beginning to wonder if there was a 'bad batch' of gift cards purchased in December/if they were hacked at this time.
For my voucher, I tried to use it yesterday as part payment towards the family summer holiday (To confirm: Gift voucher has the correct name per my passport AND I am the lead passenger on the booking and my details on Ryanair also match my passport). However, upon entering the gift voucher number I was given an error saying 'name must match passenger on the booking'. I double checked everything and it was all correct. Tried on a different browser, tried on a computer, same error regardless.
Contacted live chat - first agent absolutely appalling customer service, kept asking for my booking number even though I had not booked. Explained I wanted to use gift voucher, gave them voucher number and their response was 'only the recipient can travel alone to use the voucher' which is a blatant lie and when I said this wasn't true they replied back that they couldn't help and ended the chat.
Tried the phone number, no option for any gift voucher issues so tried other options and as it's all automated it would not let you get through without having a booking for a flight leaving in next 30 days and then hung up on me.
Went back to live chat. Got through to someone much more helpful, she confirmed that the name on the voucher was correct per my passport and that I would need to submit a complaint. She gave me the link and a screenshot of what options I should select from the dropdowns. I thanked her and proceeded to open a complaint per her guidelines.
Shortly after I submitted the complaint I got an email response which was an automated response directing me to basically go to the help centre on the website (btw which has no section for gift card issues). I replied to the email saying could someone actually read my complaint rather than send a generic response. To which I received another email with basically the same response as before - go to help centre. And that they are closing my complaint.
I mean I am baffled, a website with no mention of gift card issues, two agents who could not correct the issue, a phone line that doesn't have an option for gift card issues and a complaint process that closes your complaint if it doesn't fall under the things in their help centre.
I am at a loss now what to do. Feel like I am hitting a brick wall but also don't want £70 disappearing into ryanairs pocket.
Strangely, around the time I was trying to use the voucher, my sister (the purchaser of the gift voucher) received what looked like a booking email from ryanair with my name on it (although said Mr instead of mrs) to a completely different destination than what I was looking for, but it did mention the last 4 digits of her revolut card. So, was this just a co-incidence? Or was Ryanair hacked at some point when my sister purchased the gift voucher, hence why name doesn't match for me and hence why she received an email looking like I had booked something - did the hackers know I tried to use the code and send her that email on hope she clicks on something or adds personal details? Fyi she checked her bank account and nothing strange. We both used the legitimate Ryanair website.
Any thoughts what my next steps are?

I would be grateful to m1ckyg to find out if he solved the problem. I have tried to use a gift voucher which was sent to me by sis Xmas Day 23 which is in my name and it comes up with an error message when I try to use it and I been in 4 chats with customer services - totally bizarre advice given and now told to raise a complaint on after you fly.
Reference made in 1 chat to name same as in my booking but haven't yet booked - tried to - but decided not to considering the gift voucher not working. Concluded it must be a deliberate mistake from Ryanair. See online others have had same issue but no solution or mention of a solution.0
