M6 Toll no longer providing receipts (accessibility issue and more difficult to claim now)

I drive up and down the M6 regularly taking my mum from Lichfield to Manchester, sometimes my mum pays she is 78. Yesterday i pressed the button for a receipt as sometimes i need to claim or just keep an eye on things.
I got a piece of paper this time that asked me to go on the website in 48 hours to download a receipt. Surely this is an accessibility issue for those that are not internet savvy, given sometimes they charge the wrong price for vehicles, from other forums.
Is this a way to sneekily now and again overcharge, because customers are not always going to remember to check 2 days after their trip for the receipt.
It has become unnecessarily complicated, if i pay for a service and ask for a receipt i should get it. This isn't a move to save paper as the machine still gives a slip, which is now an instruction slip to go online. I just wanted to make people aware and i will flag this up with whoever has decided to do this.

This is not a parking issue and you may get more help on the general Motoring forum (Home› Motoring) or: -Since we concentrate on parking charge notices from unregulated private parking companies, you would be better off taking this over to our friends on https://ftla.uk (the recently started forum to replace/supplement Pepipoo), as they are the experts on council and police issues. You will need register before reading the FAQs, then posting both sides of your PCN with your query.PrivateCouncilPoliceIt would seem that Pepipoo is still active, although a "site not secure" message is displayed, therefore posters have a choice of FTLA or: -PrivateCouncilPolice1

To play devils advocate here, if you drive surely you have no vision issues and you are using a computer or other Internet capable device already to either a) buy car tax, b) buy car insurance, or c) both.1

Bit of a coincidence but since they have stopped issuing receipts, I have just found out that I have been charged £14.00 for a journey that should be £9.70. Seems that the toll booth 'thought' I was towing a trailer. Given that I don't own a trailer, nor does my Golf even have a tow bar, I can only assume that M6 Toll (under the new 27-Bank ownership) needs some more revenue. I would advise all users to keep a careful eye out for this error.0

I'd be suprised if moving the receipt service online is some form of discrimination, as you are implying.
I mean maybe a decade or two ago, but it's 2024. It's no different to the Dartford Crossing or a plethora of other companies (unless you can convince them to post you a receipt I guess)?

As there is no legal obligation to provide any receipt then there can be no discrimination.0
