Switched bank but old account still open?

Tsb normally takes a day or 2 to stop being visible in online banking after a switch in my experience. If it isn't sorted by Mon then I'd lodge a complaint

It could be that a pending payment on the old account may have stopped the closure - once it either goes through on the new account or drops off the old one the process will complete.1

TSB had "system problems" at the end of March which led to switches being processed manually. This leads to a delay between switch completion and old account being completely closed.0

If all the DD SO and payees and the balance has transferred a full switch has taken place0 -
I’d just leave it be for a couple days - if you close it, the switching process might be hindered in terms of the switch showing to Santander as ‘complete’.
If it gets any longer and still isn’t closed, call TSB and explain. They’ll know what to do from here.0
