Quick ISA transfer - Barclays to Oaknorth in 1 working day

I opened a fixed rate cash ISA online with OakNorth in the early hours of 11th April, applied for the transfer of funds from a Barclays ISA at the time of application (a fixed rate that had recently matured and converted to easy access) and the funds were showing in the new account this afternoon (12th) which, at 1 working day, makes it the quickest ISA transfer I've experienced so far and clearly shows the advantage of selecting providers who use the BACs ISA transfer service.

Some additional thoughts...

Having had some paper-based ISA transfers in the past that have taken many weeks - and even months - to be completed, it's disappointing to see that certain other ISA providers are still dragging their feet and seemingly not putting any effort into utilising the BACs ISA transfer service, which obviously makes things easier and quicker for both the provider and the customer.

If some providers are still keen to offer a paper-based service for people without interest access, then that's fair enough but I can't see why they can't offer both options like many other banks do... or transfer funds electronically to speed up the process, at the very least.
