Reply and say they can't add fake fees because £25 extra isn't on the sign so cannot be deemed contractually agreed.  And the original £100 remains in dispute, as does the alleged rejection letter which you will say WAS NOT EMAILED and it looks like ParkingEye are being economical with the truth.  As such you have passed the complaint to your MP who will be writing to the BPA and ParkingEye to complain.

You can SAR PE to include the email they allegedly sent you which must include all headers. That will be the forensic proof whether they sent the email or not.

Well I stuck to my guns and they bottled it! Even had the mediation meeting where they asked for about £250 from me and I just laughed and said I'd see them in court!

You will not believe this....

Checked my email today and had an email from the court sent yesterday. It said to disregard the letter they had sent me and that my court hearing is still going ahead.

No apology, no explanation, nothing.

I rang the number and spoke to an agent who said it was reinstated as the court had missed an email the claimant had sent. I said I'd like to complain as that is unacceptable but was just fobbed off to some online complaints form.

If I didn't laugh I think I'd cry at this stage.

Ahhhh so sorry, we have seen this before. Court messed up and PEye had paid the hearing fee.

As the hearing is still on, what's your deadline to file & serve your WS and evidence? Recent examples are on threads by @Feyla and @Char27 to name but two of lots, but you will have to search to find a Parking Eye £25 added WS example.  We have had cases exactly like yours so WS do exist.

Thanks for your help and the kind words. I have already submitted my written statement and evidence. I guess it is just waiting for the court date now.

My main defence will be the unlit parking metre and sign in the car park I parked in which I have a good photograph of. I also mentioned a lot of other things but I think that is the main one.
