@pleaseme you would probably get a better response to this if you started a new thread about it, in Compers Chat Corner. Only because if someone is having the same issue, they may not see your post about it on a thread about Mag Dailies. Also, perhaps say more about what problem you have been getting with TAB.

On the comps that say "play video and confirm entry", if you press confirm entry very quickly it goes straight through, a second later it will count to 5 before you can confirm entry

 Yes I click the video and it doesn't play, just skips immediately to confirm entry

I can’t even get to the point of logging in. I’m getting either bad gateway or unable to reach server

It's definitely coming and going today. I had the same as you, where none of them loaded at all, with a bad gateway error message. But when I tried again, they loaded fine. With doing my entries, some went through fast and some took ages. I got 'em all done, in the end.

An update...

I've sent loads of messages about the log in probs, quoting the codes every time. In response to each one I get two replies. The first one tells me my message will be passed on to someone who will get back to me, the second one tells me I haven't responded for 5 days so they're closing the case. I got 1 of the former emails and 7 of the second emails this morning.

So, out of sheer frustration, I followed up to the 1 email, saying my message would be passed on. They don't make it easy, cos you can't just reply, you have to 'click here' then register, then find the open case and finally reply to it.

At last, I got a human response and explanation:

"I have had a look into this error for you can see that it has been caused by a CSRF Token mismatch.

This is a secure token used to verify the integrity of a users session, which allows us to prevent and mitigate spam bots, hackers, and other things that could cause our sites to go down or be compromised.

A common cause of this problem is if you are running an adblocker. As this token is stored as a secure cookie, sometimes adblockers will remove the cookie to prevent tracking, however this is not what this cookie does.

Another cause may be your internet connection - sometimes if a users internet connection is poor, the session may disconnect and the CSRF token refreshes, causing a mismatch.

I’d advise that you turn off any adblockers that you may have turned on and check that you internet connection is not poor.

This mismatch is not something that we can look into on our systems, as it is functioning as intended - to keep user sessions secure."

I do use an ad blocker, so I will try turning that off and I'll see if that makes a difference.

I'll let you know - thought I'd post about it first, in case anyone else wants to try the same thing.

An update on the update...

Well, first the good bit, disabling my adblock worked. I went through the whole of my mag dailies, with no log in issue at all.

The obvious 'but'... it was sooooo much worse for not having the ads blocked. It isn't worth it, in my opinion. With the adblock enabled, the only hassle is logging in once per mag. It means getting an error message for several of the mags, clicking the arrow to return to the previous page, then logging in again. This always works. With the adblock disabled, it means the page is absolutely cluttered with ads, some of them using click bait. The video playing isn't that different to the countdown message about disabling the adblock, but it took significantly longer to go through every comp. I tried the trick of clicking quickly on the video, to go straight to the 'congrats' page. I only managed it once, because the ads mean having to scroll down to the video. I guess you could shrink the page. That might help. I also had to scroll to see the 'congrats' message, because of the page being so full of ads. Tomorrow, I'm re-engaging my adblock.
