Car finance help

I had car finance from a hyundai dealership back in 2012. I think it was around 2 yrs maybe longer but I have no paperwork and have changed banks. I part exchanged it with the same dealer again in 2016 but paid cash for the new car. I have called the dealer and they said they only keep records for 5 yrs so can't help me. Any suggestions of where I go from here please?

If you have no records and they have no records, there is no evidence of what you did or didn't have.

Only chance would be to ask the lender if you can remember who it was and see if they have any records.

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
