ISA transfer from Chip to Moneybox

Hi. I have an ISA account with Chip, that was funded using last year's allowance. I want to transfer my ISA to Moneybox as the rate is higher.

The problem I have is Moneybox is asking for account number of my Chip ISA account. I cannot find this anywhere on the Chip app and I have tried contacting them via chat without success. Does anyone know how to find this?

Secondly I wanted to add £16k for 24/25 allowance. Should I do this before or after transferring ISA accounts?

Thanks in advance

Chip is a bit primitive right now on transfers. Believe they are actively developing their capabilities here.

Can I transfer my ISA from Chip to another provider?

If you’d like to transfer your ISA to another ISA provider, you will need to contact your new ISA provider to initiate the transfer process. The new provider will send you their ‘transfer in’ form and give you all the details on how to proceed.

All ISA transfers are handled digitally by our ISA manager, Seccl Custody Limited (Seccl), read more about them in our legal details guide.

Your new provider can initiate the transfer by contacting Seccl via email at transfers@seccl.tech, or electronically through their ISA transfer solution provider. Seccl can also be found at 20 Manvers St, Bath, BA1 1JW.

Please be aware that we are currently unable to accept posted transfer forms.

Feel free to contact us with any further ISA transfer questions via email at transfers@getchip.uk

Chip don't seem to advertise your sort code and account number. But you will find it in the app:

Click on your chosen account > Add Money > Manual bank transfer> Confirm you will deposit from your linked bank account > Continue. This will provide you with the account number and sort code for your selected account.
