KeithP said:I thought about responding but your totally out of place attitude led me to reconsider.
You could ignore it all and face the enhanced bill from the Claimant when it arrives.
I will just say that the option to provide evidence comes later - after a case is assigned to a hearing court. But you already know that as @Coupon-mad mentioned it on 11 April at 8:58PM.
sorry if ive offended you. Im just very stressed out with a lot of stuff and the last thing i need is to be worrying / fighting such a parking charge.
my understanding here is that besides providing each other with support, we are all a bit fed up and a little jaded with the antics of parking companies?
Where do you think my attitude was totally out of place?
i very much appreciate the advice given by all. and i hope that the thread might go on to help others with their thoughts and frustrations.
i would add that i was medically discharged from the army and have some cognitive issues. sometimes i misread stuff and usually have to get my wife to go thorough stuff with me. unfortunately she has not been free to help with this.
thanks

and you can fill it in online and save it as a PDF and then send it in a single email to both the CNBC and the claimant/solicitor.
Not a single tree will have been harmed and you won't have wasted any electrons by trying to photocopy anything!

E4 - only would know that. Just block off any dates within the next 6 months you know you are going to be away (holiday, work, etc) and pad with a couple of days either side.
E5 - pretty obvious answer.nopcns said:Just download an N180 from here:

It does still ask for a signature though. what is the accepted way of doing that digitally ?
thanks again0 -
For anyone reading this thread...
I called the civil national business centre
it took approx 35 mins to speak to someone.
they are very amenable and helpful
my question was
ive downloaded form N180, which i understand i can fill in electronically and send electronically (thanks to the help here)
How do i complete the signature block
I was told that if filling out this way, they just need to know that its from me. So even if I type my name into the block, they accept that it is from me.
I presume it also helps that i will be sending it from my email account which i could prove is mine - and in my case, my email address carries my name.

Odd, Parking Eye have put '0' for witness attending on their n1800

No witness will attend.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Like you so many people don't receive 1st and/or 2nd pcn but the £170 payment due and court claim letters often manage to drop through letter boxes. PPCs always claim discounted/full rate pcns were sent though they offer no evidence to prove this. A letter's issue date is not it's posting date nor does it prove the letter was sent.Since PPCs CHOOSE NOT to provide evidence of their posting date and delivery we must continue to press gov to ensure they do. Please sign/share @jmccabe petition. Closes 22nd june 2024.Require communications from Private Parking companies to be traceable/trackable
Thank you. Good luck at court.2 -

My ghast is often flabbered that courts take good service when a business or body simply says that something was sent royal mail first class. however, if a private individual does not provide proof its often noted as a lack of evidence.
