Octopus Energy Intelligent Go EV Tariff

Tried to reply to a previous thread but as a Newbie couldn't make it work! So here goes with a new thread.
We requested a move to this tariff in Jan (2024) and using their peculiar and rather bitty web process established our car, charger and smart meter are all compatible - so expected a speedy transfer.
To cut to the chase, after nearly 3 months multiple test charges plus loads of emails and phone calls we're still on the Variable tariff, plus building up a sizeable O/S amount on top of our monthly payment. Most of the customer service people are helpful as far as possible but the problems seems to be with their systems not being able to connect with our 'compatible' hardware.
No one has responded to or resolved our complaint, so now we have emailed Greg (the CEO) and next stop the regulator.
Shame that Octopus' much vaunted customer service and their trendy website don't seem to be working properly for everyone.
Anyone else having Octopus EV tariff problems?

I am surprised that they haven’t suggested the Octopus go Tariff  - you will then get some reductions, and hopefully they can resolve the issues at their end, and convert the tariff to intelligent go.

No problems since changing to OIG in Feb. Only issue at change, we were Co-op Energy customers and Octopus had to do a "brand" change before the app would confirm the change to OIG. I stuck this on Twitter and it was done within 24 hours.

We have an MG4, Ohme Home Pro and the OIG tariff.

On to Octopus this morning for an hour.
    The system doesn't work.
My smart meter does not consistently send the electric reading every 30 mins so they flip me on on to flexible octopus rates when they feel like it. Which are dearer.
We have had the meter and octopus go for three years and no issue until last September.
I provide meter readings when they request them and they told me this morning they can't use them for Octopus go as it has to come from the meter.! so they charge me the dearer rate. I don't get a bill until they decide, which was 6 months worth last time Sep-Jan last one.
At the end of my tether with them and now have to take it to the ombudsmen, which is fairly useless from my last experience.
Won't change the meter and tell me to go into a dearer rate that doesn't need 30 min readings.
    Good luck.
