    Personally I would still add the tracking number to the case separately and phone ebay - I've never had a case accidentally close in the buyers favour where I have added tracking to the case. I don't like ebay doing things automatically (hence re adding tracking to the case) and prefer to make sure they understand that my tracking shows delivered and I am therefore covered by my seller guarantee.

    I have always been able to add it as a message within the case, but admittedly I haven't had an INR where I have had to do it now for months so it may have changed. I just don't trust ebay systems to do anything automatically.

    Thanks. I did that when I first got the case email. I replied to the case with the tracking number saying it showed as delivered. 

    I went on live chat and they wouldn’t do anything till the 12th but that the case should close in my favour as the tracking shows delivered. 

    Case was opened on the 7th so I assumed it would close yesterday as the email said three days. 

    Do you think it’s worth calling them too?

    Just to update. I called today and they closed the case in my favour. Thank you all for the advice.
