    That changes nothing.
My post of 10 April at 5:28PM - over a week ago - explains your next step.

I am still reading the Second Popst and familiarising myself with the process. Just to clarify after registering with Gateway I should issue the claim or respond to a claim?

That's great that you are reading ahead to understand the process.

But you don't yet have a Claim to respond to, nor are you issuing a claim.

    As I said earlier...
A letter from DCB Legal giving you thirty days to respond is a Letter Before Claim as described in the first few paragraphs of the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

    Follow the guidance found there.

Please read the first few paragraphs of that post which tells you exactly how to react upon receipt of a Letter Before Claim.

I did send them the letter with the questions and disputing the fine. That was the email from them to my mail.
The next step says not to panic once receive a Court letter with the link to the Dropbox.

So you now need to wait patiently for a Claim Form to drop through your letter-box.

    No harm in reading ahead.

EXCEPT why are so many posters not realising that they are meant to be reporting the solicitors to HMRC?

That's the entire point of the LBC question about VAT.  Feels like I have wasted my time adding that question. I don't understand why people are doing nothing. Why ask the VAT question, get a crap response then not do anything with it to 'report VAT concerns' to HMRC (which is easily Googleable and takes no more than 10 minutes)?

Coupon-mad that was done today when I received the email from them. I reported to HMRC tax fraud straight away mate. I did mention that I read the newbies and read quite a few forums on it.

    Mate-ess! 👩
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yay - glad to hear it (reporting suspicions, not 'fraud' of course).  Let HMRC decide!  Thankyou for joining this push as I reckon this has legs & will run.
