When do you think the first cut in the BoE interest rate will come?

I’m more interested in when the Fed will start cutting rates…
At the risk of repeating myself, where the "increase" option?

Have you read beyond the headline? Higher rates are always possible but Dimon seems to only be trying to reassure the market that the bank would withstand rates at that level. He is not predicting that outcome.
    Yes

I asked the question in relation to UK interest rates. Seem unlikely that the next movement will be upwards. Not impossible of course, but very unlikely.

Where's the "rate increase" option? ;)
I'd put the rate increase at around 3 months after Labour/ Coalition win the GE.
    "Labour/Coalition"?
Not a chance of a coalition government. It'll be a landslide.

Also, I think you are insinuating that the BoE is currently working with the opposition and will manipulate the interest rates in order to... what exactly? Conspiracies need to be incentivised to make even a tiny bit of sense!

If we assume BOE independence from state, Rishi's gambit of delaying the election may be seen as an attempt to take credit for however many rate cuts happen between now and election day.

The US situation is highly relevant to that of the UK. It can be very useful to consider US-based information when making local predictions.
Of course. Many factors feed into the the UK economy and impact on the interest rate decision here. I was just clarifying my initial poll question.

Looks like the fed will be keeping rates higher for longer given the higher than expected US inflation figures released today.

Fed could potentially be increasing rates. UK and Euro will need to follow to some extent, the other central banks always do
