Good ISA to open which recognises current account

Can't decide which ISA to transfer my matured ISA to. Put off by bad reviews on Trustpilot and put off by a couple that I've applied to but have to get certified statement and post etc. Are there some that are easier, haven't had this problem before

Which ISA providers have you had this issue with ? When opening an ISA account for the purposes of transferring in, I don't think that needing a nominated current amount is a common requirement although some banks do seem to require you to set one up when you register as a new customer, regardless of the type of account you're opening.

When banks or building societies do ask, they can usually confirm the account with online checks but it's often the smaller ones (especially building societies) who require you to post off bank statements as proof.

The only bank I've had this particular issue with personally was Charter, who couldn't verify my current account online for some unknown reason, meaning I had to post off a statement.

Yes, the first problem was with Charter and I cancelled the application and went with Shawbrook that I had had an account with before so was easier though lower rate, it was close to the deadline so didn't want to get caught out. Now I want to transfer a matured ISA so have the same problem and opened one with Principality Building Society and the same thing happened. I guess I'll use Shawbrook again but thought I'd ask here first. My current account is with Santander. The account has my middle name in it so I put it into the application as well but it still wanted other proof.
