How do I get negative feedback removed?

Got my first negative in 12 years!
Had a bad feeling about the buyer after seeing the feedback he had left for others. 60% negatives left for silly reasons "Could not follow instructions", "arrived late" (this is during the strike period), "I was wrong about ordering it", "nothing to add" - got a negative! "nothing exciting" - got a negative!
I nearly cancelled after seeing all the feedbacks he had left but decided to send it anyway.
Mine was " no taste, lacks flavour". But I did not make it!!! It is like buying PG Tips and giving the seller negative as you didn't like the taste!
Have I got a chance to get it removed? How do I go about it?

Just leave a response and move on. Make sure your reply is not something they can complain about.
If anyone bothers to read a sellers negative they will usually see what people put. I buy a lot from China and the
number of negatives that say it didnt arrive within a few days is unreal.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

That doesn’t hit an exact criteria for removal, but I’d still give it a go.kalsha said:Got my first negative in 12 years!

I would request removal for 2 reasons , firstly as a malicious buyer , all those negs suggest he is doing it maliciously. Secondly on the basis the feedback is not feedback for you, but a product review .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Sadly I also received a neg for first time for a Sony camera - not only did I get a SNAD despite the camera being fully working, they left slanderous comments as if I were the manufacturer and me bending over backwards to sort the issue out for him asap (I've had purchases with biz sellers like Currys who took far longer and also difficult to deal with). Not only that I was threatened by court action if I didn't refund as soon as I received the camera back. I was away with work so item was kept by RM until I returned a few days later with 'where's the money.....item was sent and you declined it' when obviously no one was home and postie made decision not to leave it outside.kalsha said:Got my first negative in 12 years!

Some people shouldn't have access to the internet never mind eBay. Anyway, long story short I sent all evidence to eBay inc the threats (of which there were many) and they decided there wasn't anything wrong and wouldn't remove the feedback. I simply replied to the feedback with 'beware of this buyer and check feedback left for others since feedback left is lies and the there was no issue with the camera.'. I've since sold the camera to someone else and guess what, all good and they've left nice feedback. As someone else said, just move on but leave a reply to the feedback they left for you.0 -
Yes, I will reply to the feedback. Just need to get my wording right so the message is clear. Apparently he had not violated any Ebay rules so they refused to remove the feedback.1

don't reply until you have tried ebay again- it's easier to get feedback removed if you haven't responded. I've just had some removed if you see this thread:kalsha said:Yes, I will reply to the feedback. Just need to get my wording right so the message is clear. Soolin, I just read your thread. Lucky you could get it removed. In your case you offered to accept return which she didn't take up. I haven't asked him to return as he has consumed the product - but he did not like the taste!
CS told me they can't remove negative as he hasn't violated any Ebay rules. I did stress that out of all the feedback he has left, 61% is negative or neutral. She said she will file a report on this. That is all she could do!0 -
We’ve just received our first negative after 22 years of selling. Bidder didn’t want to pay the Global Shipping cost and became increasingly rude and abusive. A U.K. rep advised us to cancel the order and any negative feedback would be removed. Buyer has now left negative feedback calling us scammers, and I can’t get it removed. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever
