Cheap things to do in London

I'm going to see a show in London on the 20th, and staying overnight.  Can anyone recommend free or cheap things in London in the morning/mid-day that is cheap or free?

I'll be staying overnight at the Hub Hotel in Marylebone, but my train back home will be from Liverpool Street.  So I guess around those two places.  I am flexible with what I can go to, not overkeen on nightclubs, but it being the morning/early afternoon I can't see that being a big problem. Lol

The sky garden is good and you might be able to get a free ticket.
the Wellington arch isn’t free but if you get there at the right time you can be at the top when the blues & royals (or the other lot cant quite remember) go right underneath on their horses.

if you like shopping then I’d go to Covent Garden, there may well be a street performer there.
  • Tate Modern if you like modern art.

What about Spitalfields Market?  I'd be looking for a bit to eat for lunch before heading home and I see that's close to Liverpool Street.

Looks like the Sky Garden is fully booked for that Sunday.

I'm quite into science and technology if that's any help.
