I'm going to see a show in London on the 20th, and staying overnight. Can anyone recommend free or cheap things in London in the morning/mid-day that is cheap or free?

If if you give us a clue of the area and what kind of things you like we might be able to make a personal recommendation.0 -
Science Museum is always my go-to place for a free few hours.1

I'll be staying overnight at the Hub Hotel in Marylebone, but my train back home will be from Liverpool Street. So I guess around those two places. I am flexible with what I can go to, not overkeen on nightclubs, but it being the morning/early afternoon I can't see that being a big problem. Lol0

The sky garden is good and you might be able to get a free ticket.
the Wellington arch isn’t free but if you get there at the right time you can be at the top when the blues & royals (or the other lot cant quite remember) go right underneath on their horses.
if you like shopping then I’d go to Covent Garden, there may well be a street performer there.0 -
Tate Modern if you like modern art.2700/6000 emergency fund

What about Spitalfields Market? I'd be looking for a bit to eat for lunch before heading home and I see that's close to Liverpool Street.
