These threads always descend into assertions from some that there are "no excuses" for not using online banking and expressions of frustration that some people choose not to use the internet or mobile phones or disbelief that they are not able to do so.
This boils down to the frustrated asserters not being able to come to terms with the reality that we are all different; that some people will make different choices in a free society; that those people are not obliged to justify those choices; and that if an individual chooses, for example, to prefer paper statements and the institution they bank with offers them, or they prefer to bank face to face in a branch, then that really isn't anyone else's business.
I know it is hard for some folk to accept that other people don't think down the same rigid lines that they do or make the same choices that they do, but that's just part of life.5 -
I am Autistic male 33 (34 this year) I love getting my paper statement in the post each month,I find it easier checking it each month rather than online!
