@daabren what EXACTLY have Santander said to you regarding the closure of the account and where the funds are now ?
It's not that expensive to call and as the missing amount is £95K it won't make much of a dent in that.
Best of luck finding a Thai that'll move to the cold and wet UK and be happy, they really do not adapt well being so far away from their families and being stuck indoors so much.
I know of quite a few that have drifted into gambling habits through boredom.
I am married to a Thai.0 -
daabren, perhaps you should have carried out a little research into banking before going to Thailand. A Google search of Santander ex pat accounts could have been, and might still be your answer.0

They closed my account down in September 23 and didn't notify me. I logged on mid December 23 and there's no money there in my account.
I sent a Subject Access Request and they have not complied. I have no idea what is happening with my money, <100k
So problem .....who do I sue ?
Santander UK ?
CEO Santander UK ?
Joe Bloggs .......?
This is important, it has to be accurate .
Anyone know ?
Cheers for any help offered
