The reason being that the earlier you serve the Witness Statement on the Claimant then the more time they have to pick holes in your submission before having to file theirs.
Yes of course it is a good idea to get everything prepared in good time, but leave the actual filing and serving of it to the last minute - 4pm on New Year's Eve.3 -
