Transfer of Monzo ISA - part-month interest

I recently (mid March) transferred out a Monzo cash ISA (Investec). Full transfer. All went smoothly except that I noticed that the interest added was only up to the end of February. Anyway today the extra interest for part of March has appeared in my Monzo account.
I'm assuming that the interest is tax-free, since it was earned in an ISA. Only a few pounds but its annoying that its now out of the ISA system. Seems an odd system to me.
