Traffic report required for travel insurance claim

Hello everyone, 

I am desperately trying to find a traffic report so that I can claim on my travel insurance. 

I travelled from Hard Rock Hotel in Playa Paraiso to Tenerife South Airport on 19th January on the TF-1 and there were two accidents that caused the journey to be very slow and conjested. 

Does anyone know where I can obtain a copy of a traffic report from that day? 19th January for the TF-1 travelling east. I need it to give to my travel insurance company because the bad traffic caused me to miss my flight. Someone on facebook said it was reported on local radio but I've contacted local radio, the hotel, citizens advice, tenerife facebook forums, and no one has said they can provide this. 

How has anyone else ever claim for a missed flight due to travel disruption? It seems impossible.

I've tried looking on Google but I can't find anything, maybe it's there somewhere in Spanish, I don't know. I can't speak any Spanish unfortunately! I'd be grateful for any help you could provide please.

There is a list of accidents by date in Tenerife here. Seems there was an accident on the 19th but near Puerto de la cruz.  Google will translate for you if needed.

Have you asked the insurer what format the report must take? That would drive where you look/who you approach.
