Lisa bonus first home purchase

Sorry if answered before but can't seem to find answer. If the full £4k put into a Lisa on new tax year i.e. 7th April will the full bonus of £1k get added say within 2 months or will I have to wait a full year to get all of the bonus. Planning to buy first home within that same tax year so the Lisa will be closed via buying a first home - would I keep the £1k bonus even though the Lisa closed in that year. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for replies in advance. Oh should also have mentioned I have had Lisa opened over a year but only ever paid on a monthly basis before.

My son has a Moneybox LISA and puts £4k in immediately every new tax year. Pretty sure he gets the £1k bonus within weeks.
As far as keeping it goes, I would say yes because you've maxed out. I don't know that bit for sure though.1 -
Thanks for that 👍 that's answered about getting the bonus straight away. 👍0
