Sky Price Increase leaving Broadband keeping tv

I am unsure of the answer to this and wondered if anyone else has been in same position before I contact SKY.
I am tied in to my 18 month SKY TV and FTTP 500 plan until 12th June.
I can see that I can exit my broadband FTTP 500 plan early due to the price increase but not TV element.
Can I simply place my order with PlusNet FTTP 500 which is at £32.99 with £75 reward card right now to start within the 30 day window SKY have to leave and let PlusNet do it , or do I need to tell SKY myself?
It says on the letter "these changes won't affect any offers you have with us" does this mean my TV package won't increase (other than their rise doing already) because I am cancelling my SKY?
I just don't want to get all muddled and nervous when I contact SKY.
Thank you.

TV is a separate contract. You may want to check that you don't have an offer that's based on keeping both together as a "bundle".You cannot "exit" your TV contract before the minimum date, as its in your T&Cs they can increase the price of that.Re:moving provider, just pick somebody else and sign up with them.Be aware that Plusnet does not provide a Digital Voice service on an FTTP package if that's what you need, and of course FTTP doesn't need a phone line.If you need Digital Voice you'll have to find another provider.1
