I've posted this before in the green and ethical forum but is worth mentioning as the scheme looks to have been extended again without a deadline:

£2000 for a heatpump for Barclays mortgage customers. Or lower amounts for solar or other green improvements.
Other banks have similar schemes, but Barclays is the most generous.
