Renault Zoe Not Covered?

Options
I had 2 Renault Zoes via Mobilize.  I recieved this response from them.

Please be advised that Discretionary Commission only relates to Hire Purchase, Personal Contract Purchase or Lease Purchase Agreements. It does not apply to battery only Agreements.

As you have a battery only Agreement, unfortunately we are unable to investigate this further.

Both Zoes where PCP - Is this correct?  Anyone had similar.

The FCA complaint is looking at car sales (primarily second hand it is believed)

You asked about having DCA on a car sale and you didn't have a car sale, you had a battery deal according to that

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

  • The battery only part is technically a lease, ie a fixed monthly fee, so would not be covered.
Is Mobilize a PCP though, sounds like it could be a lease too. Does your agreement state an APr or any final payment / cost of credit etc?
