Notice of interest rate reduction on notice accounts

  • In these times of steadily reducing interest rates I think it would be useful (if not essential on the MSE site (and any other account comparison site) to publish the notice period for rate changes.  That way those of us who are constantly shopping around for the best deals would have this useful bit of information.  It's almost as important as the headline interest rate.  To be fair most banks have a rate change notice period in line with the withdrawal notice period.  A few do not.

You could compile and maintain such a list in a dedicated thread if you believe there is a demand for it.

This is good advice @Deedeedoughnut but do not take it as criticism. In fact as a newbie, you should be commended for seeking out an existing old thread.
